EXHORTATION, GIFT OF
Exhortation is urging others to act on the basis of their faith in God, advising others how
to accomplish specific goals in life and/or ministry, cautioning others against actions that are
potentially dangerous and motivating others in the Christian life and ministry. Those gifted in
Many Christians will be saved in a church or will begin attending a church where the
Then because of example, influence, teaching and other factors, the Christian begins to assimilate
a spiritual gift that was not indigeneous or dominant to him/her.
Because of information about types of worship styles that is available and the
accessability of that church worship style because of improved transportaion, believers tend to
gravitate to a worship style that reflects their dominant spiritual gift and the church becomes a
colony of like-gifted believers.
GIFT GRAVITATION
(the Interstate), people began attending a local church where the dominant spiritual gift that is
exercized in the congregation is their dominant spiritual gift.
