Privacy Mask Settings<br />

In case you forget to set the Privacy Mask at the Main <strong>System</strong> or need to add more Privacy Masks<br />

onto the video for special requirements, you can do that in ViewLog.<br />

1. In the Export with New Privacy Mask Region(s) section (Figure 4-14), select Un-recoverable<br />

<strong>and</strong>/or Recoverable.<br />

� Un-recoverable: The block-out area(s) in the recorded files cannot be retrieved.<br />

� Recoverable: The block-out area(s) is retrievable with password protection.<br />

2. Drag the area(s) where you want to block out on the image. You will be prompted to click Add to<br />

save the setting.<br />

Using a valid ID <strong>and</strong> Password, you can retrieve the recoverable block-out area(s) in the exported file.<br />

For details on the Privacy Mask, see Privacy Mask Protection in Chapter 3.<br />

AVI File Settings<br />

To configure the format of exported video, follow these steps:<br />

1. Click the Setting tab in the Save AVI File dialog box. Note that when you save the AVI file in single<br />

view mode, the window looks slightly different.<br />
