3. Select the desired camera individually, or select Camera to check all the cameras from the<br />

camera list.<br />

4. Select Enable schedule of compacting video files.<br />

5. In the Schedule Time section, specify the day <strong>and</strong> time to compact the video files.<br />

Configuring Main <strong>System</strong><br />

� Reserved Days: The number of days that the original video files are reserved. For example,<br />

if you choose to reserve the video files for 2 days, the system will keep the original video<br />

files for the last two days (recorded today <strong>and</strong> yesterday), <strong>and</strong> compact all the files earlier.<br />

The minimum value is to reserve 1 day.<br />

� Reserved Frames (MJPEG): Since every frame is a key frame for MJPEG codec, you<br />

should specify the number of frames per second you desire to reserve for the video files<br />

compressed with MJPEG. The default value is 1 frame per second.<br />

� Temp Folder: The temporary storage path for the video files to be compacted.<br />

� Include “never Recycle” events: This option enables the video files that are set to be<br />

“never recycle” to be compacted.<br />

7. Click Exit.<br />
