The effective communication of sci<strong>en</strong>tific research and having productive collaborations with colleagues overseas are vital<br />

both to the sci<strong>en</strong>tific community and to a sci<strong>en</strong>tist’s career. This first half of thsi session will provi<strong>de</strong> a <strong>de</strong>monstration and<br />

discussion of the cont<strong>en</strong>t of the new ACS Publications vi<strong>de</strong>o series Publishing Your Research 101. It is <strong>de</strong>signed to assist<br />

authors and reviewers in un<strong>de</strong>rstanding and improving their experi<strong>en</strong>ce with the processes of writing, submitting, editing, and<br />

reviewing manuscripts. The second half of the session will pres<strong>en</strong>t information on the tr<strong>en</strong>ds and ‘best practices’ of working<br />

with chemistry colleagues across bor<strong>de</strong>rs - in virtual and physical settings – to conduct joint research and establish exchanges<br />

betwe<strong>en</strong> laboratories.
