En los primeros meses del año, la naturaleza nacional saca a relucir su guardarropa más
preciado.Los árboles de flor se despojan de sus vestidos de hoja viva para envolverse en los
tintes de su propia floración. El cortez blanco se enfunda en un destello de pétalos amarillos.
El sietepellejos saca a temblar en la brisa su papelería de corolas blancas. El mulato hace
alarde de sus trajes sucesivos de distinto color, desde el amarillo tierno hasta el rojo terroso.
In the first months of the year the national nature brings about its most precious wardrobe; the
flower trees undress the live leaf to wrap in the dyes of its own flowering. The white “cortez”
tree sheathes in a flash of yellow petals. The seven-skins tree brings about its stationery of
white corollas to tremble in the breeze. The “mulato” tree shows off its successive outfits of
different color, from tender yellow to brownish red.
