Lo Mejor de Nosotros

La emigración es siempre un sacrificio; pero alcanzar la meta soñada, cualquiera que sea el lugar en
que se realice, es una compensación maravillosa. Cada hombre o mujer de esta bendita tierra que
logra cumplir su propósito de asegurar una vida mejor le hace a la Patria el más entrañable servicio y
el más alto homenaje. Los trabajos pueden ser sencillos y anónimos, o extraordinarios y reconocidos:
todos tienen el valor del espíritu que les da vida. Y en cada uno de los que cumplen su sueño está el
país haciendo sentir su pujanza y su magnificencia. Ahora como nunca antes, el país está en el mapa
del mundo global. Es una oportunidad histórica sin precedentes, que nos habilita a todos para ir a
la conquista de ese mundo que cada vez tiene menos fronteras selladas. Quizás es lo que siempre
soñamos, y lo que el tiempo nos ofrece como horizonte realizable.
Emigration is always a sacrifice; but reaching for the dreamed goal, in any place in which it may be
realized, is a wonderful compensation. Each man or woman in this blessed land that achieves the
purpose of assuring a better life gives to the country the deepest service and the highest tribute. The
tasks may be simple and anonymous, or extraordinary and recognized, but they all have the courage
of the spirit that gives them life. And in every one who reaches their dream is the country that reflects
its strength and magnificence. Now like never before the country is in the map of the global world.
It is a historical opportunity without precedents, one that allows us to go for the conquest of that
world that each time has less concealed borders. Maybe it is what we always dreamt of and what
time offers us as a reachable horizon.
