En la laguna existen varias especies de peces<br />
explotados de manera comercial por los<br />
pescadores; entre las más comunes están<br />
el guapote tigre y la tilapia, introducidas al<br />
territorio por su alto nivel de reproducción<br />
y crecimiento. Estas especies exóticas han<br />

In this lagoon a series of fish species are<br />
commercially exploited by local fishermen;<br />
amongst the most common are the tiger<br />
cichlid and the tilapia, two introduced species<br />
due to their greater capacities of reproduction<br />
and growth. These exotic species, however,<br />
have eliminated or greatly reduced the<br />
