Ribera de la laguna Chanmico • Chanmico’s Lagoon shores.<br />
La laguna Chanmico aún conserva su belleza natural, a pesar de estar amenazada por<br />
el desarrollo no planificado y una población creciente en los alrededores, esta laguna<br />
almacena, junto con la lava del Playón, gran parte del agua que se consume en San<br />
Salvador. Por ello, es urgente lograr el desarrollo sostenible de la zona.<br />
Chanmico lagoon still conserves its natural beauty, even though its threatened by unplanned<br />
development and a increasing population around it. This lagoon stores, together with<br />
El Playon lava, a great part of the water consumed by San Salvador’s inhabitants. Due to this, it<br />
is important to seek a sustainable development of the area.<br />
