Reservas Naturales

En las playas de Los Cóbanos anidan, cada año, una cantidad importante
de tortugas marinas. Existen esfuerzos locales por conservar las cuatro
especies que visitan el área: golfina, prieta, carey y baules. Esto se logra
mediante la incubación de sus huevos y la liberación de crías.
On the beaches of Los Cobanos an important quantity of marine turtles nest
each year. Local efforts are made to preserve the four species thet visit the
area: olive ridley, black, hacksbill, and leatherback. This is achieved through
the incubation of their eggs and release of hatchlings.
