Poached Bream with Herb<br />

Potatoes<br />

(for two steam baskets)<br />

Serves 4<br />

1 bream (approx. 600 g) (or bluegill)<br />

800 g potatoes<br />

1 bunch dill<br />

2 garlic cloves<br />

Juice of 1 /2 lemon<br />

1<br />

/2 lemon in slices<br />

Water level in base pan: max.<br />

1. Wash, peel and cube potatoes.<br />

Coarsely chop two-thirds of the dill.<br />

2. Put potatoes in lower steam basket<br />

and sprinkle with dill.<br />

3. Clean and wash fish; pat dry. Finely<br />

chop garlic and rub into inside of the fish.<br />

Drizzle lemon juice over fish and put in<br />

upper steam basket.<br />

4. Steam potatoes and fish together for<br />

35 mins.<br />

5. Carefully remove fish from steam basket<br />

with a pancake turner and transfer to<br />

warmed serving dish.<br />

6. Arrange potatoes around fish, garnish<br />

with dill and lemon slices.<br />

Serving suggestion: Tastes delicious with a<br />

bowl of green salad with a vinegar-and-oil<br />

dressing. Due to its oval shape, the <strong>Braun</strong><br />

<strong>MultiGourmet</strong> is ideally suited for whole<br />

fish – and, for connaisseurs, poaching is<br />

the method of choice: the fish retains its<br />

fine, natural flavour, stays firmer and juicier.<br />

4 Personas<br />

1 besugo (aprox. 800 g)<br />

800 g patatas<br />

1 manojo de eneldo<br />

2 dientes de ajo<br />

1<br />

/2 limón en zumo<br />

1<br />

/2 limón en rodajas<br />

Nivel de agua en la base: máximo<br />

1. Lavar, pelar y trocear las patatas. Picar<br />

2/3 partes del eneldo.<br />

2. Poner las patatas en el contenedor<br />

inferior y esparcir el eneldo.<br />

3. Limpiar y lavar el pescado; secarlo.<br />

Picar el ajo y frotar el interior del pescado.<br />

Rociar con limón y ponerlo en el contenedor<br />

superior.<br />

4. Cocer al vapor las patatas y el pescado<br />

juntos durante 35 minutos.<br />

5. Con cuidado levantar el pescado del<br />

contenedor con una pala y ponerlo en una<br />

fuente precalentada.<br />

6. Poner las patatas alrededor del pescado.<br />

Decorar con eneldo y rodajas de limón.<br />

Es ideal acompañado con lechuga a la<br />

vinagreta. Debido a su diseño ovalado, el<br />

<strong>Braun</strong> <strong>MultiGourmet</strong> es ideal para pescados<br />

enteros, y para “connaisseurs”, es el<br />

método adecuado: el pescado conserva su<br />

sabor natural, es más consistente y más<br />

jugoso.
