Paris jet’aime (Paris, I love you) is made up of a series ofshorts films. The set theme was ephemeral love,and each short could not exceed five minutes. Thedirectors were given another constraint: theycould film only one arrondissement (district ofParis) over two days. Gus Van Sant chose theMarais, the Coen brothers the Tuileries gardensand Gérard Depardieu the Latin Quarter (using ascenario by Gena Rowlands).
