star rejouera de son sens du Teasing (le succès
de ce numéro fut un hit instantané à sa création
en 2009), puis réinventera le tableau du Bain,
temps fort de son spectacle de 2006. La
baignoire de tous les chastes fantasmes était
dorée à l’origine, puis noire, tendance Elie Saab,
à sa reprise trois années plus tard. Dans sa
version 2015, l’effet de surprise sera maintenu
jusqu’au bout, comme pour mieux faire
“déborder” nos imaginations.
Un autre tableau, enfin, attirera l’attention à coup
sûr qui, par son caractère ultramoderne, devrait
repousser les limites du genre. “En jouant avec la
technologie moderne, Dita a conçu un strip
délibérément high-tech qui va lui permettre de
se dévoiler sous un jour inédit”. C’est Andrée
Deissenberg, directrice générale, qui nous le
confie. C’est elle qui avait fait se rencontrer le
Crazy Horse et Dita Von Teese dès son arrivée
dans les lieux comme responsable de la création.
“Pour Dita, le Crazy Horse était depuis toujours
ce lieu mythique dont elle avait appris l’existence
étant adolescente”, en découvrant, troublée, une
photo dans une revue de charme que son père,
machiniste, dissimulait sous son lit. Trente ans
ont passé et aujourd’hui, la légende du Crazy
c’est Dita Von Teese qui l’écrit.

her art of Teasing (this number was an instant
success when it was first presented in 2009) and
then go on to reinvent the Bath tableau, a
highlight of her 2006 show. The bath used for all
these chaste fantasies was originally gold in
colour and then black, Elie Saab-style, when she
performed it again three years later. In her 2015
version, the effect of surprise was maintained
right to the end, as if to make our imaginations
“overflow”.
Finally, another tableau is sure to attract attention
because of its ultramodern nature, which should
push the boundaries of the genre. “By playing
with modern technology, Dita has created an
intentionally high-tech striptease that means she
will be able to unveil herself in a completely new
way,” Andrée Deissenberg, the Managing Director,
tells us. She is the one who brought the Crazy
Horse and Dita Von Teese together when she
arrived as its Creative Director. “For Dita, the
Crazy Horse has always been the iconic place she
first learned about as a teenager,” when she was
moved by the discovery of a photo in a girlie
magazine her father, a machinist, kept hidden
under his bed. Thirty years have gone by since
then and today, the legend of the Crazy Horse is
being written by Dita Von Teese.
