AUTO-TRIM<br />

AUTO-TRIM is a lockpeg developed by Ned Steinberger and has<br />

the function <strong>of</strong> cutting strings without tools. Using this peg enables<br />

the replacing <strong>of</strong> strings without using tools. In addition, as it is a<br />

lockpeg, it can suppress peg tuning irregularities to the minimum.<br />

First, with the string in an untightened condition, point the silver<br />

ball on the post toward the bridge (Fig. 5 A).<br />

While pulling the string, pass it through the post, turn the lock knob<br />

(Fig. 6) firmly and lock the string tightly.<br />

When you turn the tuning knob (Fig. 7) in that state the string will<br />

break. Continue tuning.<br />

TUNING<br />

When shipped from the factory, <strong>Ibanez</strong> guitars are set up using the<br />

following tunings.<br />
