BELLISSIMI FRIENDS ASSOCIATION
A group of friends who have been organizing parties and cultural events
for many years on the occasion of the “Madonna della Misericordia”
celebrations, which fall the first Sunday of September.
PONTE GRANDE ASSOCIATION
Founded in 1984, this association has
promoted over the years the diffusion
of classic music at Dolcedo. Every
Summer evocative concerts are held in
the churchyard of S. Tommaso church.
In the last few years this event has also
embraced jazz and ethnic music
concerts.
“U CASÀ NOVU” ASSOCIATION
This association has been founded
recently with the aim of reproducing the
privileged man’s environment
relationship which distinguished the ancient way of living. The initiatives
promoted by this association embrace sport events, art exhibitions etc.
DOLCEDO 90 SPORTING CLUB
Since 1990 this sporting Club has been using football to promote the
image of Dolcedo also outside Imperia county. The squad plays in a
non-professional league and the Sunday game is an appointment the
local fans never fail to follow, being also an occasion to “take the pÖ”
out of the opponents’ fans (generally teams of neighbouring villages),
turning a boring Sunday in something enjoyable.
THE “SPLAUDO”
According to this old tradition, Dolcedo natives have the right to claim
a sum of money from any foreigner who marries a local girl (Want to
give it a try?).
