You can see the number of the person calling you.<br />
Choose ON to turn on caller ID display.<br />
Choose OFF to disable it.<br />
Note that the RCV. START CODE is disabled when this Caller ID option is<br />
on.<br />
Before using the CALLER ID service, CALLER ID service must be<br />
installed on your telephone line by the telephone company.<br />
A journal report shows the specific information concerning transmission or<br />
reception activities, the time and date of 40 most recent transmissions or<br />
receptions.<br />
Choose ON to print journal automatically after every 40 transmissions or<br />
receptions.<br />
Choose OFF to print journal manually.<br />
You can use one of your five IDs you have set in “Setting FAX Number/<br />
Name” on page 1-7 when sending a fax MANUALLY.<br />
Choose ON if you want to be asked which ID you want to use, before<br />
starting to send a fax.<br />
Choose OFF if you want to have your machine use the ID number 1 as<br />
default.<br />
If you selected OFF, you will not be asked when sending a fax.<br />
