Giovanni Lemos de Mello Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina - UDESC Editor-chefe da <strong>Revista</strong> Aquaculture Brasil Laguna, SC giovanni@aquaculturebrasil.com SET/OUT 2018 Aquaculture Brasil na vanguarda dos eventos técnicos online Em 2017 a Aquaculture Brasil realizou, de forma inédita, o AquaOnline Brasil, este que foi o I Congresso Brasileiro Online de Aquicultura. O evento foi uma grata surpresa em todos os sentidos. Mais de 4000 inscritos, 30 palestrantes, 3 minicursos e 500 litros de cafés (rsss...)! A audiência online e ao vivo durante os cinco dias do congresso impressionou! Um fe<strong>ed</strong>back que recebemos com muito carinho foram de fotos enviadas por professores com seus alunos reunidos em sala de aula, assistindo ao vivo o AquaOnline pelo Brasil. Aproveitando o ensejo, desde já, se agende! O próximo AquaOnline Brasil está marcado para os dias 23 a 26 de abril de 2019. A princípio, o evento será bianual, alternando com a realização do AQUACIÊN- CIA, que ocorre nos anos pares. Também já iniciamos as negociações para a realização do “AquaOnline América” e o “AquaOnline World”. Em breve surgirão os primeiros congressos latino-americanos e mundiais online de aquicultura. Regressando a 2017, de forma piloto (experimental), organizamos duas mesas r<strong>ed</strong>ondas online, sendo a primeira congregando os principais especialistas na criação de bijupirá (Rachycentron canadum). Para definir a pauta e auxiliar na composição do “time”, tivemos o apoio de dois de nossos colunistas: Ricardo V. Rodrigues, Prof. Titular da FURG e Artur N. Rombenso, Pesquisador do CSIRO/Austrália. Imagine os custos de realizar uma mesa r<strong>ed</strong>onda presencial em um País de dimensões continentais como o Brasil (passagem e hosp<strong>ed</strong>agem de todos, além de outras despesas). De forma online, é muito menos custoso. Meses depois, juntamos grandes nomes na temática “Qualidade de Água” com foco na carcinicultura marinha. Tanto assunto discutido, apesar de uma pauta previamente aprovada, que o mais difícil foi encerrar a sessão. Do conforto de sua casa ou escritório, nenhum convidado queria finalizar o encontro. Foram mais de quatro horas de um enriquec<strong>ed</strong>or debate. Após o AquaOnline Brasil 2018, uma das ideias foi a de organizar eventos menores, com dois ou três dias de duração, específicos sobre um determinado assunto, os quais denominamos de workshops online. Definimos os temas prioritários e de maior interesse para o Brasil e nasceu, como workshop primogênito, o “BFT Online”, I Workshop Online sobre Bioflocos. Convidamos a equipe do Projeto Camarão da FURG para ser nossa parceira, e isto fez toda a diferença para o grande sucesso do evento. Reunir os amigos e formar parcerias, não tem trabalho melhor! O BFT Online foi planejado em cinco meses, ocorrendo de 03 a 06 de setembro deste ano. Contamos com a presença de 16 palestrantes, 20 horas de conteúdo e mais de 80 inscritos. Um dos diferenciais de um workshop é que, ao invés de um evento “genérico”, ele aprofunda os conceitos numa determinada temática. No caso do BFT Online, foi possível convidar palestrantes que abordaram temas específicos, como manejo de sólidos, uso de probióticos, controle da amônia e do nitrito, berçários intensivos, entre outros. Para o início de 2019, novidades vêm por aí... em primeira mão para os leitores da coluna, realizaremos o “I Workshop Online sobre Tecnologia do Pescado”. Todas estas ações culminam em um canal do You- Tube, o “canal Aquaculture Brasil”. Estamos nos ajustes finais para o lançamento oficial do mesmo. Nos próximos meses surgirá um jeito novo de divulgar informações e conteúdo técnico de qualidade, para fazer a diferença na aquicultura brasileira e, por que não, mundial... 62
