Adriana Goméz Llorente (Mexico City, Mexico) – Has a
Licentiate in the Restoration of Moveable Goods and
a Masters in Museology from the “Manuel de Castillo
Negrete” National School of Conservation, Restoration,
and Museography (ENCRYM) and also in Library and
Documentary Heritage from University Carlos III of
Madrid and the National Library of Spain. She is a
conservator at the National Library of Mexico / Institute
of Bibliographic Research of National Autonomous
University of Mexico (UNAM), where she is the Head of
the Department of Conservation and Restoration. She
is a professor in the College of Library Science in the
Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, UNAM. Her interests
are related to conservation management in libraries
and the book restoration.
Sandra Peña Haro (Mexico City, Mexico) – Has a
Licentiate in the Restoration of Moveable Goods from
the “Manuel de Castillo Negrete” National School of
Conservation, Restoration, and Museography (ENCRYM)
and a Doctorate in Creation and Theories of Culture
from University of the Americas in Cholula, Puebla.
She is a restorer at the Institute of Research about the
University and Education (IISUE) / National Archive /
National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and
a professor in the Master’s course in the Conservation
of Documentary Archives of ENCRYM. Her interests
are related to the processing and conservation of
photographic material in archives.

Gustavo Lozado San Juan (Mexico City, Mexico) – Has a
Licentiate in the Restoration of Moveable Goods from
the “Manuel de Castillo Negrete” National School of
Conservation, Restoration, and Museography (ENCRYM)
and a Diploma in Photographic Conservation from the
George Eastman Museum and the Image Permanence
Institute (IPI). He is the conservator responsible for
documentary, photographic, and bibliographic
archives in the Institute of Aesthetic Research, National
Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a
professor of the licentiate in Archive Administration
and Documentary Management of the Faculty of
Philosophy and Letters in the same university. His main
interests are centered on the application of methods of
analysis and digitization for the conservation and the
study and diffusion of historical documentary archives.
