REZUMAT<br />
În contextul p<strong>ro</strong>greselor din domeniul medical, chirurgia refractiv` laser cunoa]te<br />
o evolu\ie ascendent`. Rezultatul func\ional poate fi influen\at negativ prin e<strong>ro</strong>ri refractive<br />
reziduale, astigmatism neregulat sau anizomet<strong>ro</strong>pie, situa\ii în care aplicarea lentilelor de<br />
contact rigide gaz permeabile - RGP - constituie o alternativ` de succes în optimizarea<br />
acuit`\ii vizuale.<br />
Referatul prezint` particularit`\ile ]i conduita aferent` adapt`rii lentilelor de contact<br />
RGP, subliniind aportul dominant al topografiei corneene în evaluarea ocular` pre ]i<br />
postoperatorie.<br />

ABSTRACT<br />
Laser refractive surgery has an ascendant evolution on the context of the<br />
p<strong>ro</strong>gress in the medical field. The functional result can be negatively influenced by residual<br />
er<strong>ro</strong>rs, irregular astigmatism or anizomet<strong>ro</strong>pia, situations in which rigid gas permeable<br />
(RGP) contact lenses are a successful alternative in optimizing visual acuity.<br />
The paper presents the particularities and the p<strong>ro</strong>tocol of RGP fitting, outlining the<br />
contribution of the corneal topography in the ocular pre and post-operative evaluation.<br />

evolu\ie ascendent`, înscriindu-se în trendul novator caracteristic diferitelor specialit`\i<br />
chirurgicale.<br />
Succesul func\ional impune, în unele cazuri, asocierea aplic`rii lentilelor de contact, în<br />
scopul optimiz`rii acuit`\ii vizuale postoperatorii.<br />
Rezultatul postoperator poate fi influen\at negativ prin e<strong>ro</strong>ri refractive reziduale, astigmatism<br />
neregulat sau anizomet<strong>ro</strong>pie, situa\ii în care adaptarea lentilelor de contact RGP<br />
reprezint` o alternativ` de succes în ameliorarea performan\elor vizuale.<br />
