Local Council Network<br />
Trajni projekti, počev od 1998. godine, su: „Banatske<br />
studije“ (multikulturalni i medijski projekat<br />
izučavanja istorije regiona Banata); „Duhovna muzika“<br />
(multikonfesionalni horovi); „Zona komunikacije“<br />
(humanitarni kursevi stranih <strong>jezik</strong>a); „Dan<br />
Evrope“ (manifestacija i tribine povodom 9. maja,<br />
Dana Evrope).<br />
Na internacionalnom sajmu OCD Jugoistočne Evrope<br />
u Temišvaru 2001. godine, naša organizacija<br />
osvojila je prvu nag<strong>radu</strong> sa projektom Democracy<br />
Online, a 2002. godine je na istom sajmu osvojila<br />
prvo mesto za najbolji promo materijal OCD.<br />
U prethodnom periodu realizovan je veliki broj<br />
projekata, od kojih su najznačajniji:<br />
„Kulturna mapa Banata“ – promocija multikultralnosti<br />
i istorijskih znamenitosti u srpskom i rumunskom<br />
delu Banata. Projekat je realizovan u sa-<br />

EMinS Local Council in Zrenjanin was<br />
founded on November 28, 1997. The Mission<br />
of EMinS’ Zrenjanin council is to<br />
further develop democratic processes in<br />
the region of Banat; the promotion of European<br />
values, i.e. lobbying for Europe.<br />
The aims of the Zrenjanin Local Council include:<br />
regional and cross-border cooperation, the reaffirmation<br />
of the idea of multiculturalism in Banat,<br />
building and strengthening an open civil society in<br />
the region, the development of private entrepreneurship,<br />
the promotion of the use of the local cultural<br />
and historical heritage. Their projects are implemented<br />
through education and training seminars for citizens,<br />
NGO activists, local government officials,<br />
businesspeople, as well as through research into the<br />
historical heritage of Banat and its multiculturalism.<br />
Since 1998, the following key projects have been<br />
implemented: “Banat Studies” (multicultural and<br />
media project on the Banat region and its history);<br />
“Spiritual Music” (multi-confessional choirs); “Communication<br />
Zone” (foreign language courses); “Europe<br />
Day” (events to celebrate Europe Day, May 9).<br />
