European Papers
In cooperation with the Research Centre of the Slovak
Foreign Policy Association, the EMinS initiated
publishing a by-monthly journal entitled “European
Papers” dealing with unbiased information on
Serbia’s accession to the EU, the work of the EU
institutions and the EU’s Common Foreign and Security
Policy. It was distributed to a wide public in
Serbia.

članica u borbi protiv ove dve pojave.
Godina kreativnosti i inovacije je bila 2009. godina,
što je bila prilika da se ukaže na značaj i neophodnost
ulaganja u inovacije i razvoj nauke i tehnologije,
a 2008. godina se, ukazivanjem na važnost
poštovanja kulturnih različitosti koje su bazirane
na zajedničkim vrednostima, slavila kao godina Interkulturnog
dijaloga.
EPuS je organizovao brojne tribine, kviz znanja o
EU u saradnji sa TV B92, ulične akcije u preko 20
gradova Srbije. Plaketa „Doprinos godine Evropi“
The project was focused on strengthening analytical
capacities for further development and on promoting
the idea of European integration in Serbia
in an objective manner (Serbia – EU relations, the
promotion of European standards and ideas, raising
awareness about Serbia’s EU accession process,
providing and distributing objective information
and quality analysis from different areas that
are important for the process of joining the European
Union).
The main goals included: reinforcing analytical
capacities in Serbia for developing and promoting
European integration, raising awareness about
the necessity to use information and surveys about
the EU and involving both professional and
non-professional circles dealing with the European
Union.
The following topics were covered in the European
Papers, one in each issue: Serbian Foreign Policy,
Multiculturalism, Agriculture,
Economy, Energy and Security.
The project was implemented in
cooperation with the EMinS Forum
for International Relations
and the Research Centre of the
Slovak Foreign Policy Association.
The financial support came
from the SlovakAid.
Europe Day 2008 – 2010
Numerous activities were organized by the EminS
during the last three year to celebrate Europe Day
– May 9.
Europe Day has been celebrated in the EU since
1985. Alongside the national anthem (“Ode to Joy”)
and the flag, Europe Day is one of the three symbols
