irazvoja, Ministarstvo spoljnih poslova, i dr.).
Tokom druge nedelje, studenti borave u Bavarskoj i
imaju priliku da posete univerzitete, upoznaju se sa
univerzitetskim životom i sa nemačkim kolegama studentima.
Projekat se realizuje uz podršku Ambasade Savezne
Republike Nemačke – Vlade SR Nemačke, Saveznog
ministarstva za ekonomski razvoj i saradnju i Ministarstva
spoljni poslova Nemačke, Organizacije za
tehničku saradnju (GTZ), Državne kancelarije pokrajine
Bavarske, Bavarskog univerziteta za Centralnu,
Istočnu i Južnu Evropu (BAYHOST) i pet političkih
fondacija u Srbiji (Konrad Adenauer, Friedrich Ebert,
Friedrich Naumann, Heinrch Boll and Hanns Siedel).

Welcome to Germany
The Program “Welcome to Germany” is focused on
socially active students from the second, third and
fourth year of studies from the Serbian universities.
To date, over 240 students and 140 secondary
school students have had the opportunity to visit
Germany.
The main goal of the project is to bring young people,
who have never had any opportunity
to travel, to the Republic of Germany for a
study visit to learn about the political and
economical system of one of the EU founding
members. The opportunity to meet German
students and peers of similar professional
orientation brings an important quality into
their life perceptions, while the ideas, such
as openness, tolerance and multiculturalism
become important prerequisites in understanding
a “common European house”.
Through an open competition, scholarships are
awarded to a selected group of students who get an
opportunity to spend two weeks in Germany. Their
final destinations are Berlin and Munich/Bavaria,
where they participate in a rich political and educational
program. During the first week, the program
includes a visit to different institutions in Berlin,
such as the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation
and Development, the Ministry for Foreign
Affairs, etc. During the second week, the program
continues in Bavaria, where participants get acquainted
with students’ life through a series of meetings
with German students and colleagues at the University.
The program includes lectures and study
visits and is created as an introduction to German
institutions, political system and democracy.
