Following the rise in prices of imported
raw materials and components caused by
the dramatic increase in foreign exchange
rates, many companies had to postpone their
modernization investment projects and plans
which led to a slowdown of the equipment
market dominated by European manufacturers.
In addition, some analysts predict growth in
sales of equipment manufactured by Eastern
European and Russian companies. Should we
expect a redivision of the market? This matter is
discussed by the industry experts and insiders.
According to Alexey Gorbatov, member of
the Executive Board of the National Union
of Meat Processors (NUMP), until recently,
the meat processing equipment market had
a large capacity because many companies
implemented modernization projects and
took the production to a new technological
level. Now, however, there is some kind of
stagnation associated with the economic crisis
developments.
“The meat processing market is big enough,
however, it is very difficult to evaluate its exact
volumes, because except for a small number
of holding companies consisting of several
enterprises, the entire meat processing industry
is privately owned”, Vladimir Romanov, Director
General of the “Myasnoy Expert” company said.

Вслед за ростом цен на импортное сырье и компоненты,
вызванным резким скачком курса иностранной
валюты, многие компании были вынуждены
отложить инвестиционные проекты и планы
по модернизации, что привело к замедлению
темпов роста на рынке оборудования, где доминируют
европейские производители. При этом
некоторые аналитики прогнозируют рост продаж
оборудования, производимого компаниями из
Восточной Европы и России. Ждать ли передела
рынка? Об этом рассуждают эксперты и участники
отрасли.
По наблюдениям Алексея Горбатова, члена правления
Национального союза мясопереработчиков
(НСМ), до недавнего времени рынок мясоперерабатывающего
оборудования был очень емким,
так как многие предприятия осуществляли модернизацию
и переводили производство на новый
технологический уровень, но сейчас наблюдается
некоторая стагнация, связанная с кризисными
явлениями в экономике.
Рынок мясопереработки достаточно велик, однако
его точные объемы оценить крайне трудно,
так как, за исключением немногочисленных холдингов,
объединяющих несколько предприятий,
вся мясоперерабатывающая промышленность
находится в частных руках, говорит Владимир
Романов, генеральный директор компании
«Мясной Эксперт».
