125 km “Lechweg” from Formarinsee to Füssen
in Allgäu stage- and long-distance hikers cross one of
Europe’s last natural river landscapes, they encounter
Europe’s biggest ibex-colony, beautiful waterfalls and
kingly palaces. Those who prefer walking in a circle
to find themselves can let themselves be inspired be the
“Grüner Ring” (Green Ring). This 35 km hiking path
leads hikers through the alpine mountain landscape in
three stages, around Lech Zürs and into a world full of
fantastic legends. A “literary hiking guide” points the
way to 36 exciting discovery and meeting points.
