on hikes like “Natural reserve “Gipslöcher
(gypsum holes) in Oberlech”,
“Steinernes Meer (rocky sea) around
Formaletsch” and “Ursprung des
Lecher Quellwassers (the Lech’s sources)”. And the 3.4 km, family-friendly
“Geoweg Rüfikopf ” introduces hikers to incredible dimensions of time.
Relax & dive in
Not only kids like paths that run by the water. A break, a picnic, cool your
legs! By the beautiful Formarinsee in the Lech’s source region below the
Rote Wand even fishing is allowed. Situated at an altitude of 1,810 m,
Spullersee is famous with fishermen for its big trout and with hikers for the
wonderfully refreshing swims. The deep blue Monzabon-lake at the foot of
Rüfikopf and the small Libellensee (dragonfly lake) in Oberlech motivate
children and grown-ups alike to venture onto the “Green Ring” and invite
body and soul to enjoy a moment of calm.

Run up & away
For those who’d rather find peace while running, the altitude running
park Lech offers ideal conditions. Two starting points, 10 paths and
54 km through a varied landscape get you in the mood to train every day.
The running- and Nordic Walking paths which were classified by experts
lead along gravel lakeside paths, soft pastures and moss-covered forest
routes that are easy on the joints and offer all kinds of challenges – starting
with a level beginner’s route and going all the way to trails for performance-oriented
mountain runners. A special guidance system for speedand
pulse control as well as a healthy altitude of 1,450 m make jogging in
Lech Zürs highly efficient. Step by step!
