In July John and his parents went on holiday to Spain. They went by plane from London<br />
to Barcelona. His sister did not come with them because she wanted to work in a<br />
supermarket.<br />
John didn’t like the first hotel. It was old and there was a lot of noise. So his parents only<br />
stayed there for two nights. The second hotel was great. They liked their large rooms, and<br />
the beach was wonderful. They went to the beach every day, but one day they couldn’t go<br />
swimming because the wind was so strong. It was dangerous to swim because the waves<br />
were so high.<br />
One day John and his parents drove to Puerto Plaza, a little village by the sea. There John<br />
bought a necklace for his sister. He got new sunglasses because he lost his old glasses on<br />
the beach. The weather was fine all the time. When they went back to London John and<br />
his parents thought that Spain was a great country for a holiday!<br />
