With a concept that’s unique throughout the world, the ZDS naturally does not restrict its activities to
Solingen or to the German-speaking region either. In an age of increasing international cooperation and
global synergies, the ZDS directs special attention to the convergence of the worldwide market. Proof of
that are its wide variety of languages, its seminar activities on almost all continents and its presence at
the most important trade fairs of the industry.
The ZDS is represented at the following trade fairs etc.:
At ISM – the international confectionery
trade fair in Cologne and the most important
annual fair for the ZDS – we
have our own stand; and at ”ProSweets”,
which takes place concurrently, we are
additionally involved as conceptional
sponsor.
ProSweets is based on a new trade-fair
concept aimed at the sector supplying
the confectionery industry. Held for the
first time in 2006 in Cologne, this trade
fair covers the entire supply spectrum of
the confectionery industry: from packing
and packaging technology to process
technology right down to the raw materials
for confectionery manufacturing.
The secondary areas – refrigeration and
air-conditioning technology, works and
ancillary equipment as well as food
safety and quality management for the
confectionery industry – are also profiled
by ProSweets.
And, of course, the ZDS is an essential
part of this unique communication
platform for confectionery production.
At the IBA ”World Market for Baking” in
Munich and Düsseldorf, we likewise
keep a high profile.
At Anuga FoodTec in Cologne – the most
important international trade fair for food
and drinks technology – the ZDS also
takes part regularly with its own stand.
With its worldwide seminars in eleven
languages, the ZDS is well known in
many countries from China to Mexico,
from Singapore to Australia to Chile.
In addition, the ZDS invites the industry
to relevant symposia to do with confectionery
production. Thus, for instance,
the most important representatives of the
chocolate industry meet every two years
for ”CHOCOLATE TECHNOLOGY”,
which attracts around 350 participants
to the congress centre of Koelnmesse,
the Cologne Trade Fair.
