Wir sind sicher, dass dieFasertagung hierzu einen wichtigen Beitrag leisten kann.In diesem Sinne gratulieren wir herzlich zum 50jährigen Jubiläumund wünschen viel Erfolg jetzt und für weitere 50 Jahre …The fiber and textile industries in Europe and the world are changingconstantly over the last decades, driven by the advancingglobalization, structural adjustments on the supply and demandside and finally the impacts of the global crisis 2009/2010 – butover all the years there was a fixed reference point: the annualDornbirn Man-made Fibers Congress.50 years ago, the congress was established as an overall discussionand communication forum, providing a platform to all participantsto learn about developments and innovations inside theindustry. From the very beginning, PHP (under present or formernames) has intensively supported this congress, starting with thefounding father Prof. Albrecht. Actually, PHP contributes to thisevent through active participation in the program committee andthrough various lectures. This long-standing solidarity demonstratesthe importance and relevance of this event for our company.It is now not only to look back on the past 50 years, but to moveforward on this path and to approach the upcoming tasks andissues in a constructive way.
