Finest hiking<br />
Aiming to lead hikers to the most attractive routes on the Swabian Alb, the city of Münsingen<br />
recently had four new premium trails and premium walks certified, the »hochgehberge«. Under the<br />
slogan »hochgehberge <strong>–</strong> finest hiking in the Swabian Alb biosphere region«, 21 particularly beautiful<br />
tours will be re-labelled this year. Certified according to criteria which evaluate both the quality<br />
and number of sights, trails and rest areas, they guarantee perfect hiking enjoyment. Well signposted,<br />
the routes lead right through nature and avoid long asphalt roads.The city of Münsingen doesn’t<br />
only have the highest quantity of these new premium trails of all communities involved, it’s also<br />
the first to complete all of their tours between 4 and 6 kilometres [2.5 and 3.75 miles] in length.
