Paar <strong>Majolika</strong>-Albarelli<br />
Höhe: 18,4 cm.<br />

Faenza, 16. Jahrhundert.<br />
Die Albarelli auf kurzem Fußring mit wenig eingerück -<br />
tem Hals. Die Sockelzone und Schulter beider Albarelli<br />
zieren abstrakte geometrische Muster, die von brei ten,<br />
dunkelblauen Ringen gerahmt werden. Die Wandung<br />
ist in Berettino-Malerei mit salomonischen Knoten und<br />
Blüten gestaltet, auf dem hellblauen Fond sind weiße<br />
Pünktchen in Dreiergruppen eingestreut. Einer der<br />
Albarelli zeigt auf der Front in einem Medaillon einen<br />
Hasen, der andere einen Delfin. Darüber läuft ein Blatt -<br />
kranz mit gelben Früchten, alternierend Knotenformen<br />
und luftiges Blütenfeston. Bemalung in Dunkelblau,<br />
Hellblau, Weiß, Gelb, Grün und Orange. Beide mit<br />
Bruchrest.<br />

Castelli, 16. Jahrhundert.<br />
Großer Teller, tief gemuldet mit breiter Fahne. Um den<br />
Rand zieht sich ein verschlungenes Band. Fahne und<br />
Spiegel ziert ein verschlungenes Dekor mit stilisiertem<br />
Eichenlaub, "foglie". Die Bemalung in Blau und Grau mit<br />
Weißhöhungen. Einwandfreier Zustand.<br />

Short foot and slightly tapering neck. The base and<br />
shoulder of both are decorated with abstract, geometrical<br />
patterns, which are framed by broad, dark blue<br />
bands. The body is decorated in berettino style with<br />
salomonic knots and flowers against the light blue<br />
ground and trios of little white dots. Each decorated<br />
with a medallion at the front, one featuring a hare, the<br />
other, a dolphin. Ornamented above the medallions<br />
with foliage wreathes with yellow fruits, alternating<br />
knot shapes and light floral festoons. Painted in dark<br />
blue, light blue, white, yellow, green and orange. Both<br />
cracked and restored.<br />

Castelli, 16th century.<br />
Large, deep dish with broad border. The rim is orna -<br />
mented with an entwined band. Border and centre<br />
decorated with stylized oak foliage, so-called 'foglie'.<br />
Painted in blue and grey, heightened with white.<br />
Flawless condition.<br />
