Crespina auf kleinem Fuß. Die wellig gemuldete Fah ne<br />
mit Fischschuppenmuster in Orange und Blau, der geschweifte<br />
Rand in Gelb mit manganfarbenen Strei fen.<br />
Im Spiegel ist ein Löwe an einer Kette dargestellt, der<br />
nach links schreitet. Die Bemalung in Orange, Blau,<br />
Gelb, Mangan, Grün und Schwarzbraun. Die Unterseite<br />
ist weiß glasiert. Sehr schöner Zustand, leichter Glasur -<br />

Crespina on a small foot. The wavy gadrooned border<br />
is painted with a fish scale ornament in orange and<br />
blue, the wavy rim in yellow with manganese stripes.<br />
The centre depicts a lion passant in chains, stepping<br />
to the left. Painted in orange, blue, yellow, manganese,<br />
green and black-brown. The underside glazed in white.<br />
Very good condition; minimal glaze wear.<br />

Manufaktur Siena, um 1450.<br />
Kleiner, birnenförmiger Henkelkrug mit breitem Henkel.<br />
Die spätgotische, geometrische Bemalung teilt die<br />
Wandung in vier Register. Diese sind bemalt mit alternierend<br />
blauen Rauten und Dreiecken auf der Spitze<br />
stehend. Feine Linien formen Rahmen um die Muster.<br />
Die Bemalung in Blau und Mangan auf cremeweißem<br />
Fond. Bruchrest., vorne Brandfehler in der Glasur, Chip<br />
an Fuß und Henkel.<br />

Workshop of Siena, circa 1450.<br />
Small, pear-shaped jug with broad handle. Late Gothic,<br />
geometrical panels divide the body into four parts. Each<br />
part is painted with alternating blue diamonds and triangles<br />
standing on their points. The patterns are out lined<br />
by fine lines. Painted in blue and manganese on a<br />
crème white ground. Restored crack, firing defects in<br />
glazing at the front, chip on base and handle.<br />
