store for visitors and exhibitors?
The buzzword “lean production” fi rst
appeared in the 1980s. The basic idea
is to optimise processes and workfl ows
in a company by intelligent organisation
and innovative changes within
the value chain and to minimise waste.
“Clean“ – the footwear industry
clearly has the intention to improve
its performance in all areas. Hazardous
substances have no place in the
products or the production processes
of the footwear industry and should
be avoided wherever possible. What
is meant by “sustainable” and what
does the term imply for the industry?
The 2011 April PoS event will address
precisely this topic. Come to the next
