Andy Rihs
Chairman since 1992, non-executive
Board of Directors
The primary duty of the Board of Directors of Sonova
Holding AG is the overall direction of the company and the
supervision and control of the management.
None of the Board members has or has had any operational
positions within Sonova Holding AG or any of its subsidiaries
during the last three years.
The Group is building a new production plant on a site
next to its headquarters in Stäfa, Switzerland. The factory
is being constructed by the building contractor R-Estate
AG. The land belongs to ARim AG and will be pur chased by
the Group once the building has been completed. Both
R-Estate AG and ARim AG are fully owned by the Chairman
of the Board of Directors of Sonova Holding AG, Andy Rihs.
The terms for purchasing the land and constructing the
factory are identical to those that would be agreed with an
independent third party.
Apart from the details mentioned above, there are no business
relations between individual Board members, including
companies or organizations represented by any
individual member, and the Group.
