Building Placement<br />

Build to Line: A storefront facade is required at a 0’ to 5’ setback<br />

along the entire length <strong>of</strong> the lot’s front lot line (lot line along Main<br />

Street). Storefront/building entrances may be recessed into the<br />

storefront facade.<br />

Exception: To create a publicly accessible paseo that links the<br />

sidewalk to a rear parking facility, the <strong>Plan</strong>ning Director may allow<br />

a 10’ wide segment <strong>of</strong> the lot’s front property line to be open or<br />

unoccupied by a storefront facade.<br />

Exception: To create a driveway that links Main Street to a rear<br />

parking facility, the <strong>Plan</strong>ning Director may allow a 30’ wide segment<br />

<strong>of</strong> the lot’s front property line to be open or unoccupied by a<br />

storefront facade. Shared driveways are encouraged to minimize<br />

curb cuts along Main Street.<br />
