The design of this insulation - compared<br />
to some other types - allows a<br />
more space saving installation with<br />
improved accessibility as well as considerably<br />
easier testing and maintenance<br />
of the fan.<br />
The Insulation consists of:<br />
A certian number of shells acc. to fan<br />
length, split into upper and lower<br />
shell, made of galvanized steel<br />
sheets for connecting the shells in the<br />
vicinity of the fan´s mounting feet as<br />
well as insulated connections to flexible<br />
connectors or ducts. Insulating<br />
material made of mineral wool with<br />
wire gauze on one side, thickness 80<br />
mm and 120 mm respetcively, not inflammable<br />
class A1 as per DIN 4102<br />
T4, specific density 60-80 kg/m3.<br />
These mats are fixed to the shells.<br />
