B. Selecting the Correct Prevailing Wage Determination<br />
The Prevailing Wage Determination published bi-annually (February 22 and August 22) and are<br />
divided into Statewide, Northern and County Sections.<br />

The link for the Statewide Wage Determinations provides the prevailing wage rates for<br />
classifications such as Boiler Maker, Iron Worker, etc. These classifications are applicable to<br />
workers who work throughout the State.<br />

The link for the Northern Wage Determinations provides the prevailing wage rates for<br />
classifications such as Carpenter, <strong>Labor</strong>er, Operating Engineer, etc. These classifications are<br />

Selecting the above link will show the <strong>San</strong> <strong>Francisco</strong> County Wage Determinations where<br />
classifications such as Electrician, Plumber, Painter, etc can be found. These classifications are<br />
applicable to workers who work in <strong>San</strong> <strong>Francisco</strong> County, <strong>San</strong> <strong>Francisco</strong>, California.<br />
Prevailing wage rates for Apprentices has been moved to the website for the Division of<br />
Apprenticeship Standards (DAS):<br />

Apprentices shall be permitted to work and be employed at the apprentice rate only when they are<br />
registered under a bona fide apprenticeship program with a State apprenticeship agency which is<br />
recognized the State Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS). (<strong>Labor</strong> Code Section 1777.5<br />
