<strong>San</strong> <strong>Francisco</strong> Unified School District (SFUSD) received approval for their <strong>Labor</strong> <strong>Compliance</strong> <strong>Program</strong><br />

(LCP) on March 28, 2003. It is currently recognized as an Awarding Body LCP with extended<br />

authority per Title 8, California Code of Regulations Section 16427 that monitors <strong>Public</strong> Works<br />

projects over $15,000 in value. The LCP for SFUSD is listed on the website for the Department of<br />

The Chief Financial Officer, in collaboration with the Chief of Facilities, directs relevant staff and<br />

consultants charged with the implementation of compliance procedures, per the Education Code<br />

Section 17424 and California <strong>Labor</strong> Code Sections 1720 through 1861.<br />

Mr. Grazioli, as Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the daily activities in the areas of financial,<br />

managerial, and regulatory services, including the Office of Contract <strong>Compliance</strong> which initiated the<br />

Awarding Body <strong>Labor</strong> <strong>Compliance</strong> <strong>Program</strong> in March 28, 2003. Mr. Grazioli has been responsible for<br />

the <strong>Labor</strong> <strong>Compliance</strong> <strong>Program</strong> since his arrival at <strong>San</strong> <strong>Francisco</strong> Unified School District (SFUSD) in<br />

December 2004. Mr. Grazioli communicates frequently with the Chief of Facilities as well as the<br />

General Counsel in charge of the District’s Legal Department to ensure contractors are in compliance<br />

with all regulatory requirements that are stipulated in SFUSD public work contracts. He directs the<br />

activities of staff and consultants he assigned to implement labor compliance procedures at the District.<br />
