Based on the <strong>ASLR</strong> test only has 20% <strong>of</strong> the women would have pelvic instability. So 80% <strong>of</strong><br />

postnatal women have a negative <strong>ASLR</strong> test score. (see table 27 <strong>and</strong> related figure 10)<br />

Characteristics <strong>and</strong> differences:<br />

The difference in these positive <strong>and</strong> negative <strong>ASLR</strong> test groups is very minimal on average<br />

age, average BMI <strong>and</strong> on the average number <strong>of</strong> weeks after the birth. The significant<br />

differences can be found in the area <strong>of</strong> the DPQ scores. The total score on the DPQ for the<br />

women in the group with a positive <strong>ASLR</strong> test is on average 114, the average score on the<br />

DPQ <strong>of</strong> women with a negative score on the <strong>ASLR</strong> test is 29.6. The average score on the<br />

physical DPQ differs between 62.8 <strong>and</strong> 17.3 for respectively a positive <strong>and</strong> negative score<br />

on the <strong>ASLR</strong> test. The average score on the emotional DPQ differst between 51.3 <strong>and</strong> 12.3<br />

for respectively a positive <strong>and</strong> negative score on the <strong>ASLR</strong> test. These results are made<br />

visible in table 28.<br />
