The test results of this hypothesis shows that the percentage of women on the other positive
tests for pelvic instability the score is 38% However this represents only 3 women. Because
of this low population, this result is strongly sensitive for coincendences. It would therefore
be interesting to investigate if the same test with a larger population shows similar results.
If we look at the group of women with a negative score on the ASLR test in combination with
a positive score on one or more of the other instability tests, and compare these with the
group of women with a positive score on the ASLR test and the other tests (for pelvic
instability), it shows that these differences are not significant. However, because this groups
of women are relative small (14 women, compared to 1), you can not really speak of groups
of women. Significance can only be defined in groups.. Although no statistically significant
difference could be shown here, it does not mean that there was no difference at all.
The comparison between the group of women with negative scores on the ASLR test and
negative scores on the other tests for pelvic instability, and the group of women who scored
positive on the ASLR test in combination with a negative score on the other test for pelvic
instability shows a significance score of 75% (p
