not have the option of creating a double sided MFS or single sided HFS<br />

floppy; neither of these is necessary with the 128K ROMS!<br />

DCFormatter, included on the <strong>Spectre</strong> disk, has an option to format<br />

an 800K MFS floppy, if you need it.<br />

Incidentally, because memory was so tight in 832K mode after<br />

adding support for the CCR, we were forced to remove support for the<br />

Translator One to make room. We didn't know this was going to be<br />

necessary until right before the CCR was to be released. (We started<br />

getting the 01' out-of-memory errors.) It's impossible to use the CCR<br />

and Translator One at the same time anyway, since they'd fight over<br />

the disk drives. If you badly need to use the Translator, just drop back<br />

to an earlier version of the <strong>Spectre</strong>, like 1.9F, to do your translating.<br />

Duplicate: This submenu gives you a convenient way to clone a<br />

<strong>Spectre</strong> (modified ST) or Mac (CCR ) disk. (see Figure 13)<br />

You select the "from" drive (the source diskette) and the "to"<br />

drive (the destination diskette). If these are the same, you'll be<br />

prompted to switch diskettes as necessary.<br />

You also select the disk type you are copying, either <strong>Spectre</strong> (ST)<br />

or Mac (<strong>GCR</strong>). The Mac mode is only available if you are using the<br />
