LOG= System Option<br />

System Options under z/<strong>OS</strong> LOGPARM= System Option 473<br />

Specifies a file to which the <strong>SAS</strong> log is written when executing <strong>SAS</strong> programs outside the<br />

windowing environment<br />

Default: <strong>SAS</strong>LOG<br />

Valid in: configuration file, <strong>SAS</strong> invocation<br />

Syntax<br />

LOG=file-specification<br />

file-specification<br />

identifies an external file. Under z/<strong>OS</strong>, it can be a valid DDname, a physical file<br />

name, or the name of a file stored in the directory structure of UNIX System<br />

Services. The DDname must have been previously associated with an external file<br />

using either a TSO ALLOCATE command or a JCL DD statement.<br />
