I. Charleroi Depot area has two basic missions:
a. As a Ease end Internediate Dewt it will:
(1) Receive and store re~ervas of Class I supplies
and make shipments to kmies and
other Depots 8s requlred, Charlerol will
be the pincipal source of Class I for
initial stockage of Advence Depots to be
established in the near future.
(2) Receive and store a nortion ox the thea-
ter Class I11 Fackaqed DOL reserve and
make shipments forwar9 to Depots and
Arffiies as required.
(3) 8eceive and store reserves of sumes
for First and Ninth Armies and ADRZC
(north) and mke shipments as requirea.
b. As a Distribution bnot it will:
(1) Receive, store end distribute all classes
of sugply to trooqs in the Depot Xrea as
directed by the Sase Section Comnander;
and receive, store and distribute aviation
gas to Air Corps Units 8s designhCBd by
USSTAF.
