From nineteen brethren at Chestnut, Natchitoches Parish. The application<br />

is in form and is accompanied by proper certificates and<br />

dimits and the Dispensation Fee of Fifty Dollars, and is recommended<br />

by Ashland Lodge No. 196 and H. M. King, D. D. G. M. for the Fourth<br />

Masonic District.<br />

From seventeen brethren at Glenmora, Eapides Parish. This application<br />

is in form and is accompanied by proper certificates and dimits<br />

and the Dispensation Fee of Fifty Dollars, and is recommended by<br />

Benjamin F. Scott, D. D. G. M. for the Twelfth Masonic District, and<br />

Forest Hill Lodge No. 254.<br />

Your Committee begs to append the following resolutions:<br />

Resolved, That the following charters be granted:<br />

To Calvin Lodge, at Calvin, Winn Parish.<br />

To Spring Hill Lodge, at Spring Hill, "Webster Parish.<br />

To Elton Lodge, at Elton, Calcasieu Parish.<br />

To Hackley Lodge, at Hackley, Washington Parish.<br />

To Bryceland Lodge, at Bryceland, Bienville Parish.<br />

Be it further resolved, That the dispensation of Shongaloo Lodge<br />

at Shongaloo, Webster Parish, be continued.<br />

Be it further resolved, That the applications for dispensations from<br />

the towns of Curry, Winn Parish; Mora, Natchitoches Parish; Fullerton,<br />

Vernon Parish; Chestnut, Natchitoches Parish, and Glenmora, Eapides<br />

Parish, be referred to the incoming Grand Master for decision<br />

and action.<br />

To the M. W. the Grand Lodge, F. and A. M., of the State of Louisiana:<br />

Your Committee on Masonic Law and Jurisprudence, to whom have<br />

been referred the '' Rulings and Decisions'' reported by the M. W. Grand<br />

Master, beg leave to report, after careful consideration, that they find<br />

them to be in harmony with the laws of this jurisdiction and the usages<br />

of the Order, and accordingly approve them—•<br />

Excepting, however, Euling No. 4 to the effect that a Lodge outside<br />

the City of New Orleans could not permit a chapter of the Order<br />

of the Eastern Star to meet in its Lodge room without a special dispensation<br />

of the Grand Master:
