Poorly made skin, right hind leg nearly detached, l)ut specimen well preserved.<br />
Type not de<strong>si</strong>gnatt'd by number. The specimen bears one old label inscribed<br />
^^Arvirold uustt'rua Kacine, Wise." on the obverse, and on the reverse "Type of<br />
species." In the "Remarks" column in the old original catalogue is written<br />
"Type of Maj. Le Conte." On pages 210 and 214 of Monographs of North<br />
American Hodentia, Cones speaks of 2249 as the type of Arricola an-fterns.<br />
