Well-made skin in good condition except a small naked ari'u on l>elly; skidl<br />

perfect. The specimen was first preserved in alcohol, but sliortly after coniiny:<br />

to the <strong>Museum</strong> it was made into a skin.<br />

AlcohoHc in fair condition. A few small bare spots, and the under <strong>si</strong>de exten-<br />

<strong>si</strong>vely cut open to remove skull, but it has"been recently sewed up; skull perfet't.<br />

No type de<strong>si</strong>gnated by number. A skull is figured and marked "typical<br />

specimen." .An examination of the 5 specimens collected In' Dr. Abbott shows<br />

that the figured skull is No. .S5263, conseipiently the specimen to which it belongs<br />

may tie regarded as the type.<br />
