specimen. Cope remarks: "This delphinoid was taken by the<br />

U. S. Fish Commis<strong>si</strong>on at near the same locality as the last" [i. e.,<br />

near Portland. Maine. ''The last," L. perspicillatas^ was reallij<br />

from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, but L. guhernator was from Casco<br />

Ba}', near Portland, Maine. F. W. True].<br />
