specimen. Cope remarks: "This delphinoid was taken by the
U. S. Fish Commission at near the same locality as the last" [i. e.,
near Portland. Maine. ''The last," L. perspicillatas^ was reallij
from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, but L. guhernator was from Casco
Ba}', near Portland, Maine. F. W. True].
