ACE (Ateliers du <strong>Cinéma</strong> Européen) is an<br />
association for independent <strong>film</strong> producers<br />
created in 1993, grouping 200 members<br />
from 23 European territories.<br />
The organisation focuses on:<br />
> organising training sessions on<br />
financing opportunities offered by<br />
different markets worldwide<br />
> creating an international network of<br />
independent producers to promote and<br />
facilitate coproduction among its members.<br />
Over the years, ACE has become not only<br />
an operational structure providing<br />
professional advice on the various<br />
aspects of <strong>feature</strong> <strong>film</strong> production,<br />
eaVe seMiNar<br />
EAVE (European Audiovisual<br />
Entrepreneurs) is a professional training,<br />
project development, and networking<br />
organisation for audiovisual producers.<br />
Working with a worldwide network of<br />
partners, EAVE is involved in programs for<br />
producers in Europe, Russia, Latin America,<br />
the Arab world, Asia and Africa.<br />
Founded in 1988, its objectives are to<br />
provide professional training opportunities<br />
and to bring producers from different<br />
regions of the world together with the aim<br />
of facilitating coproduction relationships.<br />
EAVE believes that the support of<br />
<strong>Paris</strong> Project is supported by and organised in collaboration with:<br />
but also an important and active network<br />
of European producers.<br />
COPROduCING wITh BELGIuM<br />
Two Belgian producers, among the most<br />
active internationally, discuss their views<br />
on coproducing with Belgium using as<br />
examples their specific past experiences –<br />
working with France and working with<br />
different countries.<br />

independent voices, creative imagination<br />

the global media industries is an urgent<br />
necessity in the 21 st century. Through its<br />
work, EAVE aims to contribute towards the<br />
creation of strong networks of producers<br />
and to encourage the exchange of<br />
knowledge and skills which will strengthen<br />
independent production across the world.<br />
The details of this seminar moderated by<br />
producer and EAVE expert Jean des Forêts<br />
