Absolute position setting<br />

CODE “A” n1 n2<br />

HEX 1B 1D 41 n1 n2<br />

REMARKS Sets the absolute position based on the left margin position for<br />

starting the next printing.<br />

0 n1, n2 255<br />

The start of the next printing is the (n1 + n2 × 256 dot) position from<br />

the left margin position.<br />

Settings that exceed the print area are ignored.<br />

FUNCTION Relative position setting<br />

CODE “R” n1 n2<br />

HEX 1B 1D 52 n1 n2<br />

REMARKS Sets the relative position based on the current position for starting<br />

the next printing.<br />

0 n1, n2 255<br />

The start of the next printing is the (n1 + n2 × 256 dot) position from<br />

the current position.<br />

1. Settings that exceed the printing area are ignored.<br />

2. When set in the right direction from the current position with<br />

regard to the character direction, this specifies positive integers<br />

and when set in the left direction, this specifies negative<br />

integers.<br />

3. Negative integers are shown with the compliment 65536.<br />

For example, if moving N pitches in the left direction:<br />

n1 + n2 × 256 = 65536 – N.<br />
