FUNCTION Set bar code data<br />

CODE “R B n1n2 ; a1a2.…an” <br />

HEX 1B 52 42 n1n2 3B a1a2.…an 0A 00<br />

REMARKS This command defines the bar code data to be printed.<br />

n1n2 : Two digits reference number of defined bar code<br />

whose print position and type are previously defined<br />

with “PB”.<br />

a1a2.…an : Bar code data to be encoded and printed.<br />

Note: a) Start and stop characters of CODE 39 is automatically<br />

inserted.<br />

b) Check word of JAN, EAN, or UPC is automatically<br />

calculated and inserted.<br />

c) When data length does not meet the specifications of<br />

JAN, EAN, or UPC, data length is ignored.<br />

d) CODE 128 conforms to EAN-128; the start code,<br />

check word, and stop code of CODE 128 are automatically<br />

inserted.<br />

e) Start, stop and check characters of CODE 93 are<br />

automatically inserted.<br />

f) Start and stop characters of Interleaved 2 of 5 are<br />

automatically inserted.<br />

g) When the number of digits of lnterleaved 2 of 5 is an<br />

odd number, “0” is automatically inserted as the<br />

highest digit.<br />

h) If “;” is missing, printer goes into an error condition.<br />
