each observation, the researcher had a conversation with the teacher <strong>an</strong>d the students<br />

to build up good relationships <strong>an</strong>d encourage.<br />

Data Analysis<br />

The impact of the teaching intervention was evaluated by the <strong>an</strong>alysis of the<br />

data i.e. the eleventh grade students’ underst<strong>an</strong>ding of photosynthesis <strong>an</strong>d the<br />

teachers’ reflection of their teaching. The data was collected, in the three cases i.e.<br />

Border, Market, <strong>an</strong>d Babysat Schools, through the two surveys, called IPS <strong>an</strong>d APS,<br />

the student <strong>an</strong>d teacher interviews, <strong>an</strong>d the classroom observations. In this study,<br />

each case study was <strong>an</strong>alyzed. Then the three cases were cross-case <strong>an</strong>alyzed to<br />

represent the whole results of this study. Figure 3.3 shows the framework of the data<br />

<strong>an</strong>alysis.<br />
