REMOVING A REFRIGERATOR DOOR SWITCH<br />

WARNING<br />

Electrical Shock Hazard<br />

Disconnect power before servicing.<br />

Replace all parts and panels before<br />

operating.<br />

Failure to do so can result in death or<br />

electrical shock.<br />

1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.<br />

2. Lift the top grille off the pins at each end<br />

and remove the grille.<br />

3. Remove the two hex-head screws from<br />

the door switch cover and remove the<br />

cover.<br />

4. Disconnect the two wires from the door<br />

switch terminals.<br />

5. Fully open the refrigerator door.<br />

6. Push the bottom of the door switch out as<br />

far as it will go, then press down on the<br />

top locking tab, and push the switch out<br />

of the bracket.<br />
